PAYMENT POLICIES

RESERVATION POLITIES

If the reservation is made more than one month in advance of the arrival date we request 30% to guarantee the reservation and the total payment two weeks before.

If the reservation is made two weeks before or less than the entrance fee is requested 100% of the total to guarantee the reservation.

POLICY TO CANCEL THE SERVICE

If you wish to cancel the reservation one month before the date of the activity, the credit will be refunded less 25% of the administrative expenses.

If the cancellation is made within the month to perform the activity the money will not be refunded. Only if there is a force majeure problem will a date change be allowed.

payment policy 

Cash: the cash payment will be made at the WEKAIN office located on Soasti streets between Quito and Riobamba in the city of Macas.

Bank transfer: Account number: 2100123629 Current account / WEKAIN ECOTOUR TOUR OPERATOR WEKCOM C.L / Banco del Pichincha. In case of bank deposits, the ballot must be sent to wekainecotour@gmail.com or to our whatapp 0963072179 indicating the reason for the reservation: names and date.

This process will run through our website www.wekainecuador.com, in the BUY tab.

GENERAL POLICIES

Behaviour policies

Always follow the guide’s instructions.

It is forbidden to enter and consume alcoholic beverages or psychotropic substances in the activities proposed in the itinerary and within the places of lodging. 

It is prohibited to enter weapons or inappropriate behavior within the routes. 

Extraction of plant and animal species from visiting sites is not permitted.

Tourists accept the charges in case of damage within recreation places, green areas, lodging or community cabins.

In the event that tourists improperly tamper with our company’s equipment and these are damaged, they must cancel the value of the repair.

Our company does not control the climate therefore the schedules and/or activities can be modified in case of heavy rains.  

Pets are not allowed on tour days.

Environmental and social policies

Tourists will be committed to caring for the environment and not to littering.

Visitors should not write, stain, or make any type of graffiti on stones, trees or supporting equipment as this affects the natural landscape.

Respect local knowledge.

Respect members of indigenous communities and their cultural manifestations.

Accountability Policies 

If these clauses are not respected, the guides will rule on the violation committed and in the worst case the contract will be terminated without the right to return the money. 

In case of an emergency and visitors cannot complete the activities within the days of the tour, the money will not be refunded.

WEKAIN ECOTOUR is not responsible for any type of accident that occurred in the course of our tours. Passengers are advised to listen to their guides, read and observe the different types of recommendations and suggestions on safety and behaviour standards. 

WEKAIN ECOTOUR is not responsible for the loss of forgotten items outside our offices. In case WEKAIN ECOTOUR staff find forgotten objects in any of our facilities. WEKAIN will have in its possession the objects forgotten for the lapse of 1 month. After this time they will be donated to a foundation for charitable purposes.
